" What a great experience fishing on the water with Captain Chris, My sons, son in law and grandson had a great triply fishing and spin casting. "I have a lot of river experience, and a very little on the Texas and upper Florida coasts. I was on a family trip to a resort and wanted to try and fly fishing for bones for the first time. Kris was a great teacher and taught me how to see the ghosts in a no time - I had heard,  but did not appreciate how difficult it was at first. He put me on a good number of fish, I was able to see and cast to them, and I had a great day! I had several near misses and losses (on me), and I hooked my first bone before we where done. If I had booked earlier in my trip, I would absolutely have gone out again - It was a blast. Kris was also the kind of guide I love to fish with. He was knowledgable about the fishery, history, culture of the islands, and is conservation-minded and courteous to others. I had a fantastic day and will absolutely book with Kris again and recommend him to friends."

Great local guide!

Had a great half-day out with Capt. Kris. Got me hooked on a couple of Bonefish. Despite windy, rough conditions, he managed to get us on several schools of fish. My first bite was epic, as he maneuvered us right along a huge school of Bonefish. Quite a sight. Its clear that he has put in the time and effort to find these little fish holes. Twice he managed to find fish, where I would not have found them. Got my first Bonefish on my own flyrod 😃 Kris is a very nice guy and easy to talk to. Recommend a trip out with him! 👍
